The paellla, mediterranean way of life

Paella, the watchword of local cuisine, celebrates in 2013 it´s International Year, and Arenal Restaurant joins this festival with a glass of wine on the beachfront to proclaim our love of the sea that unites us.

If something is known of Spain, is its paella. A dish originally from the coastal region of Valencia, arrived by the coast to Barcelona, whose sailors endorsed paella molding it with more seafood – clams, shrimp, prawns, crayfish and mussels- up to convert it into cuisine icon.

In Arenal is our specialty and we elaborate it with a lot of care, as it should be, making sure that the rice is tender and using the correct amount of water. The classic version is the sailor paella, but there is something for everyone. In Arenal Restaurant also prepare it with vegetables, black rice, risotto, with lobster or in fideuá format.
